Russian lashes and acrylic nails with gel help

Can you have either of these on for surgery? Thanks

Not sure about the lashes but you can’t have any nails on or nail varnish. They need to see the colour of your nails because if they turned blue it would be an indicator that the oxygen levels in your body have dropped and then they can react x

Ive also read that you cant have lashes on as well as i wear individual lashes, so im not having mine infilled now as my op is in July xx

I rang the clinic up and the lady that works there said she was pretty sure I can keep them on
She saw a girl with them on this week who had surgery. She’s going to get back to me x

My surgery is Monday and the nurse texted saying any false nails, lashes, hair etc needed to be removed xx

Oh sorry to clarify she said no false nails but false lashes were ok she thought but double checking

I had nail varnish on fingers and toes only and it was ok. They prefer you not to wear gel or false nails as it can affect the reading (false reading)on the observation machines (the little device they clip onto your finger to read oxygen saturation levels and heart rate). As for lashes sometimes they use tape to keep eye lids closed for safety reasons.

Can’t have lashed as clue toxins x
