    Hi girlies,

I’ve decided against getting finance for my BA now and have started saving instead. I have managed to save 1000 in 2 months and I’m hoping to save 500 a month so shouldn’t be long! Anyone got any tips for saving? I find it so hard!

    Hi Rose 🙂

Yeah it’s soooo hard! I’m a shopaholic so not buying clothes is so hard! I’m doing loads of overtime at work too so I’m hoping I should have my op booked by my Birthday in Oct, when did you have yours done? How big did you go if you don’t mind me asking 🙂

Lloyds bank do a thing which made it really easy for me to save extra cash without realising. It’s basically a normal bank account but everytime you pay by card they round up to the nearest pound and put the change in a savings account, you’d be surprised how quick those 30ps etc add up x

i booked for 8 weeks in advance with a deposit of 500 (but i had 2500 saved already) and told mya i would pay 15 days before my op, this made me save it cause i had 6 weeks to save it or i would lose my deposit, paid for it all on the last day and got 10 days to go now.. if i hadn’t of done that I wouldn’t have saved, that way your saving and it’s getting closer to your op date too x

also if you get a deposit over 2000 you can apply for 0% finance over 10 months with mya, i got offered it but decided to do what i did above x

I’ve paid for all mine myself too, mya have a piggy bank that you can pay into and they will save for you! I did it that way & is handy because you can’t just dip into if if you wanted 2 lol… money pots are good too xxxx

its so difficult isn’t it, I saved 300 a month I literally didn’t go out, don’t go out partying, I also budgeted so I would plan ahead I would keep 100pound for essentials and didn’t bother buying any new clothes unless i needed to , im just as bad i love buying clothes i could walk into river island and walk out with everything lol, but it gets easy as you have to think your getting some new lovely tits and whats better than that? NOTHING haha i think it was abit easier for me as my boyfriend helped me out with buying food etc but its literally just budgeting don’t buy silly things and if you really want new tops etc just go on ebay and i sold all my old bikinis and some clothes so maybe try that as well xxx

Awww it’s such a drag having to save up it took me 15 months. To save £5,995 for my uplit and implants I put n hard for over time at work and cut back on things but the last £500 I put on my credit card to give me cover just in case anything went wrong even tho I had life cover / life care but you never know. Do you all these lady’s that had them pips only. The lady’s that had payed card was covered for free surgery removed and re placed by the cover on the cards x

@kayleigh use the £1000 you’ve saved and book!! I’ve booked mine for September 19th which feels like SO FAR away but it keeps me motivated to save every month. Got a strict budget to save to, including buying as few clothes as possible, but as everyone else says you’re saving for something so much more than a new dress!!

One tip I do is to take the money out of the bank and give it to someone you can trust. I give it to my mum every month and she’s strict enough (strict, stubborn – same thing!!) to not give it back to me under any circumstances!!

you apply through your PC you have to have at least half of the full amount for a deposit, you just fill a form out and have to prove income etc, they don’t do a credit check, it’s up to them if they will accept you. They wouldn’t accept me with 2000 but would for 2500, just didn’t wanna have it over my head…. But it is interest free so is a good offer, but you have to pay within 10 months (i don’t know if that’s 10 months after deposit paid or if it’s 10 months after op, you would have to ask) It’s called a MYA special if you ask your PC. Good if you wanna book and can’t get full amount as quick as you want xx
