I had my strapping off today and mentioned the pain I have under my right boob… Have actually taken the strong pain killers today again. The nurse took a photo of the area and said I had bruising there. It wasn’t until I got home that I felt the scar and realised how thick it is! Is that normal and will it get better over time? The one under my left boob is nice and neat compared.

My right incision was quite swollen it just went down on its own with no problems x

So it might just be swollen? It feels horrible, like a lump!

Hey huni I had uplift and implants and the same thing happen to me this is normal I was told off a breast cancer surgeon to rub e45 in to them quite firmly to smooth it out inside and out but not worry it just needs time to heal up and they will be fine x

Thanks, glad it should improve in time! I was thinking I’d have to go back to have it removed later on!! Can’t massage it yet as it’s way too tender… Taking the paracetamol with codeine tablets to numb the pain. Hoping it eases by the weekend 🙂 Apart from that, I adore my new boobies!!!!

This is so strange, I have the exact same thing, and under my right side too!
I find it so hard to sit up because my right side hurts so much!
I’m getting my strapping off today so I wonder whether the nurse will say the same thing to me! I hope that’s all it is because I’ve been out of my mind with worry!

I’m exactly th same, I had uplift and BA and I’m day 3 post op and under my right boob really hurts more than anywhere else… I can’t even hold anything in my right hand as it hurts but I’m guessing it’s just healing and will be fine x

it’ll be swelling i think, you’ve had your skin cut open then stitched back together, of course it’s going to swell a bit from all the pressure and things it’s had!
Both my scars are now invisible and can’t be felt by touch xx
