Scarring

I am two weeks post op. i am worried that my scars under my breasts are starting to thinken and are raised. Is this normal? Has anyone had this and does it ease and go down? I am hoping it’s not the start of keloid scarring! I really worried

Raised scars are very normal at 6 week check you will probably be given the go ahead for scar massage to break the tissue down x

at 2 weeks post op its normal to have red and raised scars, give it time x

Mine was red and raised from my first op right until my second, and now I’m almost right weeks it’s still the same, usually I heal really quick, so was shocked, but was assured they can look this way for up to a year xx

mine were quite raised for just over two weeks, and quite bumpy, I had under the skin stitches so I think that’s what I could feel. I don’t think it’s anything to worry about. Mention it at your 6 week check just to put your mind at rest though if they are still the same. Still early days yet isn’t it 🙂 x
