Scars??

I’m nearly 4 weeks post op, boobs are really really soft and both scars and dropped right into the crease so you can’t see them unless I lift my boobs up so i guess that means they have dropped but my scars are still quite scabby and bumpy with a few stitches working there way out?? Normal?? Xx

I’m four weeks PO. I don’t have any scabs, but I definitely feel the bumps! I was air drying the moisturiser off them the other day while sat on the computer and my incisions got itchy (they are so dry since i cant put anything on them yet) and I accidentally scratched it without even thinking, and I could see the end of a stitch. I guess it’s lucky I’m on antibiotics right now for bronchitis, so in addition to keeping it miraculously clean, I should hopefully be fine :/ I guess if I’m going through it at the same time as you it should be normal? Unless we’re both freak incidents.. 😛 I bought sterilising wipes just to clean them off at the end of the day as I don’t want any bacteria going in the stitch that could potentially poke right out any day! Ahh so frustrating lol x

Hey im 6 weeks post op and although my stitches have now gone finally my last one dissolved at bout 5 and half weeks my scars are still bumpy
So your both normal i had my 6 week post op yesterday and was told some stitches can take up to anywhere between 4-6 months to dissolve. If they poke out ring your nurse up and she can trim them off x
