Second day post op help!

Hey girls,

Quick question – how long am I supposed to wear these socks for? The hospital told me 5 days but I’ve been reading up and as long as you’re mobile you can take them off now. I’ve been lucky and been really mobile (I was out shopping first day post op). do you think I’ll be okay to take them off now?

I kept mine on for about 4 days after my op, but I did have times were I took them off every now and then to let my feet breathe because I generally hate wearing socks especially in this heat. But because I went shopping I took them off as I was very mobile and then just ended up throwing them away.

So as long as you know you’re going to be mobile then I think it’s fine to stop wearing them x
