Sensation worries- help!!

I’m only 1 week post op but when I touch my nipples and boobs it feels weird- uncomfortable and like they aren’t a part of me…
Is this normal???

I haven’t had my surgery yet but I’ve been told by my surgeon that strange feelings are really common. Your nerves are interferred with during surgery so it’s often the feelings coming back that makes everything feel a little weird (if that makes sense) You could always give them a ring if you’re really worried? x

Glad it’s normal I was expecting numbness rather than this … I’ve got my first follow up on Friday so I will still mention it to the nurse I think

Yep its completely normal your boobs won’t feel like part of you for around 5 weeks mine felt horrible especially when I was in the shower and the flow of water hit them!! I could also feel the implant moving it takes awhile for everything to settle remember we have put a foreign body inside our bodies so takes a bit of getting used too xx
