I’ve had a few shooting pains in one of my breast a this morning. Is this normal and just nerves healing?

Absolutely normal Wendy. As you said they are just nerves healing and can continue for some time. Nothing to worry about. I hope your recovery is going well. Xx

Going ok thanks. These took my breathe away! Bit worried about the amount of implant I can feel and palpate at the bottom of my boob but loving the size and shape of them and can’t wait to be able to get some nice bras and tops 🙂

    How are you doing?

    Hi Wendy

shooting pains are very normal. They took my breath away !! I’m 10 days post op and now I m experiencing pain under my arm pit like a stretching achy feeling . Have to stick my chest out to get some comfort.
Must say that the shooting pains have now gone and I have also stopped taking pain killers since post op day 8.
    Hope it gets better xx

@wendyj Hi Wendy, I’m doing great – thank you. I’m 4 weeks post op today and can’t believe how quickly the time has flown! I’ve got no pain anymore although my skin is still a little sensitive but nothing like last week. Still having to wear the breast band though, which is a bit of a nuisance. I saw my surgeon last week at 3 weeks post op check and she told me to start massaging the breasts every day and also to apply Dermatix scar gel twice a day. Massage really helps with the soreness and also makes them softer. She also told me to go braless as it will help with dropping and fluffing. I’m really happy with them, they’re looking more natural every day and I keep forgetting about them. Still haven’t exercised, but have been walking every day for an hour. I think I’ll leave another 2 weeks before I go back to the gym. One breast is still higher than the other and smaller, but I’m sure this will get better. I’m glad you’re happy with yours and they will only get better. xx
