Im in the same boat as u. I need to lose about 5kg to get back on target but no way that’s going to happen before my op in 3 weeks. I suppose it depends on if you lose weight on ur boobs. I dont so I’m hoping that i’ll be fine xx

I advise you to lose weight prior to surgery else you’re putting yourself in danger of rippling. Whats more important? 4 thousand pound boobs or a few lbs. Lose your excess weight first. Thats what my surgeon told me to do and I did. X

Yes! I agree with Nikki. Defiantly not worth 4k for the sake of a few pounds. I’m terrified of rippling because of the poor quality skin I have around my breasts, so think I’m a little more prone to it. I managed to gain 6kg over Christmas and cant seem to get it off 🙁 So…it’s hardcore diet and training for me until my op in 8 weeks. I enjoy the gym, but LOVE my food even more. I’m on a low carb, high protein diet. Feel tired and moody for the first week or 2 due to lack of carbs, but stick it out and your body gets used to it. I’ve started running 5 out of 7 days only for 15mins before breakfast and I do circuit training twice a week, Muay Thai 3 times a week and weight training twice a week. I will make sure my money doesn’t go to waste!! At least if you lose some of the weight now, when you continue to after your op there won’t be such a drastic weight loss, compared to what it could have been. I hope this helped somewhat 🙂 xx

I would definitely say lose the weight first it’s not worth the risk of losing it after and rippling, my PC also told me not to lose or put on excessive weight! I’ve always kept my weight up just to have boobs and last year decided enough was enough and lost 13 kg and it’s only now that I’m getting implants put in x

Im the same as u kirsty. Im a b cup and have never lost weight off my boobs even when I got down to my target weight last june. It has slowly crept up since I came off holiday. All my weight goes on on my belly, bum and hips so there is nothing to lose on my top half so im not overly worried xx

Definitely before your op. I have learnt that the hard way as I have lost one and a half stone since my last op and started to get rippling on my upper pole xx

I’d like to lose a dress size and I’ve given myself a goal of the middle April so 6 weeks (started exercising in jan but can’t keep off the chocolate!!) but I really want my boobs done soon…looking mid/end April….hope I can manage to lose it before the op! I suppose 1 dress size isn’t too drastic…is it?! Reading this has def given me a push and more willpower as I don’t fancy spending 3.5k for risk of rippling?!x
