showing / incisions

Really weird question. I’m 2 weeks PO and believe it or not I still haven’t put water on my incisions. I got given the all clear at my 7 day post op review, I’m heeling fine and everything is fine i’m just really scared for some reason. Is there anything wrong with me doing this? I will eventually but at the moment its just cringing me out and i can’t lol xx

I had my op he same day as you and the first thing I did after getting the all clear at 7days was get home abs straight in the shower with the water pouring over my new boobies lol !! Xx

oh really?? the thought of it is really freaking me out haha.. don’t want them to get infected by me doing this though so i was just wondering xx

It won’t infect hun , if you’ve had the all clear to shower that means its healed , I’ve had 3 cesarean sections and you shower the next day with those when they aren’t fully healed so I knew 1 week later was safe with my boobs lol !!
It only takes 24 hours for everything to knit together internally hun xx

I was exactly the same, it was the quickest shower of my life! Im nearly 3 weeks post op and I panicked about washing my hair, I kept getting it done at the hairdressers. Finally went for it monday and im now worry free haha. Youll be fine, if the nurse said its ok then im sure it will be 🙂 x
