I’m 3 weeks post op and the skin on my boobs/under arms is constantly peeling off. I’ve been moisturising daily to try and stop it with no such luck. Has anyone else had this problem? Or is it due to my Macom bra? I bought a back size bigger than I needed like I was told but it’s still very tight & is digging in/rubbing in places.

Join the club. These are things no one tells you. I’ve learnt lots from having a full tummy tuck and uplift 4 wks ago. Stuff I wish someone would have told me.
Loads of people after surgery get horrid itchy flaky skin. No matter what you do, it carries on peeling. I thought I was allergic to my macom binder and macom bra. I’m peeling over my whole body and no matter what I do it just carries on coming off. Its gross.

When I called MYA they were like it’s just where your strapping has been, I’m like no cuz I’ve got it under my arm pits and everything and I’ve not had strapping on for days. It’s been 2 weeks for goodness sake 🙁 xx

My skin peeled all over my boobs and the sides it is where the skin has stretched when your skin stretches the skin surface turns very dry very quick these flakes are dead skin cells falling. Off its normal x

Is it not cause you’re not washing and exfoliating as you usually would.. hmmm xx

I have this problem too! Not on my boobs, but under my arms and all down my sides where the strapping was. It’s horrible!! I keep moisturising it too but it makes no difference. I’m 3 weeks post op as well.

moisturising flaking skin won’t get rid of it; it’s dead skin so it needs to come off?? :-\ .. really confusing xx

You can’t really exfoliate them yet because they’re still tender and sensitive :/ x
