    Hi girls
I had my op yesterday at Preston. I ended up staying in overnight as I lost a lot of blood so they kept the drains in overnight. When they took them out this morning they had to undo some of the strapping and then put my bra on.
Since I’ve got home I noticed two damp patches on my shirt and when I’ve looked my skin is raw and weeping.
Has anyone else had this? I haven’t put my bra back on as it was rubbing it, still got plenty of strapping on though.

    Hi Ella
Yes I’m going to call them now. My doctor has open surgery in the morning too so might pop along to that. Hope the rest doesn’t go like this when they take the band off ?

    Thanks xxx

Jesus please tell me that’s an allergic reaction because if not I’m now terrified of the strapping ?

@elouisa88 aw im sure you’ll be fine Hun. I think my bra had rubbed where they’ve adjusted the band and that’s what’s caused it. its improved from earlier though!

I had some blistering from the strapping when mine was removed and was very sore looking! Id advise applying vasceline throughout the day as my macoms were sticking so having to peel away from my skin every night! Although my boobs were numb and didnt hurt it prolonged the healing process! Xx

I’ve seen soooo many girls in pure agony and blistered up with strapping!! Why do they even bother when other surgeons don’t? It seems like such un required pain when a MACOM takes your breathe away and pressures enough!! So sorry to see this 🙁 looks so sore! Savlon on that!!! Xxx
