Hi girls. I went for my post op today and asked the nurse if im ok to sleep on my side now and she said no 🙁 she said to keep sleeping on my back for 5 weeks, not as upright though. She said incase i squash my boob and it sets at an angle!? Argh! As it isnt properly healed till 6 weeks. My back hates me already! Im dying to sleep on my side! X

I know horrible isn’t it! I woke up abit on my left side this morning Ooops. My bum also feels abit numb/ bruised from lying on it so much over the last few days and I’ve got a headache today and I’m sure it’s from my head being up on the pillows. I feel abit crap today so am in a right moaning mood lol xx

You should definitely get a v shaped pillow they are £9.99 in Argos and so worth it I’m 4 days post op and I don’t think I would have slept without my v pillow it has kept me upright comfortably and stopped me turning over and I always normally sleep on my stomach xx

Oh tell me about it !!! I’m having a nightmare ! I’ve had a BA & TT & normally sleep on my front ! I’m staying with my parents and have found sleeping downstairs the only option to keep upright sleeping. I’m 1wk post op & so sick of the same view & same daytime tv ! I miss my 3 kids as well :0( but seeing them tonight :0) They have been staying at my in-laws as are only young. It’s going to be a long 6wks. Anyone else having a TT be warned the body garment is awful !!! I’ve been so naughty & keep taking it off !!!
Well there you go ! My rant for the day !!!!!! I’m sure it will all be worth it xxx

I’ve been sleeping on my side for ages now I’m 6 weeks post op. I think if you naturally roll over onto your side which is what I was doing it must be ok! I could only sleep on my left side at first but you’ll just find yourself sleeping how you would naturally eventually xoxo

Defs get a v pillow girls. It mould around you and locks you in place so you can’t flip to your side too much, and they are very comfy. Was a godsend for me last night as sleeping upright was one of my main worries x
