Haha I found this the worst part of recovery. Have you got a V pillow? I was at kind of a 45 degree angle… it was tough but it isn’t forever! Put a pillow under your calves… that helped me. Every surgeon is different but are you sure it’s 6 weeks? Mine said 10-14 days x

The nurse does tell you, you have to be at a 45 degree angle however I found that I had to be higher. When sleeping if I was at a 45 degree angle, I found I would some how slip down the bed and when getting up from waking up I would get really bad burning by my incisions.

So I try to get as comfortable as possible and sleep straight up. I am currently using up to 4/5 pillows to help keep me up right and I have found since doing this I have had minimum pain, whereas before I was suffering from a lot of pain

Hi Stacey I got told yesterday 2 weeks sleeping at 45 degree angle. I used a v pillow over my own pillows last night and I woke up with a very sore lower back. My boobs are fine! It’s my ribs and back. You definitely don’t need to sleep upright! Find a comfy spot half way between led down and sat upright and that’s 45 degrees x

Hi ladies do you have to sleep upright for a full 6 weeks? I’m going with Mr kazzazi and he said I had to sleep upright for 4/5 nights then on my back for 5 weeks I will definitely struggle with that as I’m always on my belly xx

@lolabelle328 100% pillow in the middle of the v pillow for lumbar support, i think thats what a lot of people are missing. And i just use the top of the v as my head rest. I sleep better like this then i do on my actual back when i didnt have boobs haha
