Sleeping on your back?

How long do you have to sleep on your back after your boobs done as I can’t really sleep on my back so hoping it isn’t long til I can lay on my side xx

U dont sleep on your back hun u sleep upright and for aslong as u can ur supposed to give it a week i slept propped up for like 8 days n if i sleep more on my back now i wake upto bad morning boob (achy chest etc) and i couldnt sleep on my side yet and im 15days post i think everybody is diff and u will sleep on ur side wen ur body naturally can at the minute i cant sleep on my side it feels uncomfy x

Oh I meant like on your back but propped up with cushions above your head? I’m really cpnfused now haha. Hoping il be able to get some sleep then as te only way I can sleep is on my side. Thanks for your help xx

I get ya lol yea they say a week and i thought it would b a nytmare coz like u i slept on my side curled up pre op but it isnt that bad well u get used to it and coz it isnt comfy to turn in onto ur side its like the only position u can get into nyway xx

Haha sure il cope I’m getting some lovely boobies out of it soo its worth it haha xx

When they say upright do they mean like as if you were sat in a chair?? Trying to prop myself up with pillows and V pillow but I end up more slanted than upright lol xx

Yea u end up abit slumped just sit as upryt as poss i was basically sat upryt but obvs u do slump down abit im sat with your v pillow behind u i have one under my bum and couple ov others behind aswell x u do get used to it i found it was the oy way i cud sleep coz stomach n sides out ov the question x

This is what I am dreading! I’ve just left the hospital and quite sleepy so hopefully tonight will be ok but I love my sleep and always sleep on my side so upright may be a problem :/ x

Yeah was in a hotel last night so going to try get it set
Out proper tonight now I’m home! Yeah can’t imagine being able to sleep on side yet and at the min can’t imagine ever being able to sleep on my front lol xx

I no as the pain eases and u feel lot more normal u feel like goin on ur side ive gone to do it a couple ov tyms and its just strange sensations n i quikly go bk to boring propped up position lol i wud love to b able to jump into bed get snuggled up on my side but im 15 days n it does seem a while off still :'(

I slept upright for 10 days, If you lay on your side too soon you can cause the implant to become lopsided so my nurse said

Yeah I’ve heard that about lying on your side too early too so propped up it is for me aswell lol xx

I’m 4 days post op and hating sleeping on my back. I always end up slumped right down and can’t get comfy sat straight up!
