Sleeping on your side?

Hey everyone, im 1 week post opp! Recovery has been fab, been so lucky! Not much pain haven’t had pain killers for a few a days. My boobies feel like mine now plus just had my post opp today, scars are healing fantastic and can shower in 2 days! Also back to work woo woo BUT desperate to sleep on my side. When did everyone start sleeping normally again?! Xx

Hi Alice the nurse says 6 weeks but a lot of girls did much earlier I’m 4 weeks PO and can sleep on my side for a cheeky hour or so without pain but still get morning boob lol have you got a v pillow and a pillow under your knees that really helps!

Thanks @becky1987 gunna give that a go! Yeah I can lay a little on the side with a cushion but not for long, I’m desperate ha!! X

I started waking up on my side from a week post op – naughty me!

I’m 2 weeks post op and so scared if I wake up n not sitting quite up right still lol such a worrier! I would love to lay down!xx

I’m 10 days post op Hun and I’ve been sleeping on my side. Like you though lucky with no pain , healing great and feeling very soft X

When you say sleeping on the side girls do you mean laying down on the side or sitting up on the side?xx

I’m proped up with loads of cushions still but on my side X

I was told at 2 weeks post op that I don’t need to be propped up much anymore but still need to sleep on my back. I woke up on my side the other night (3 weeks post op) and didn’t find I was a little sore in the day xxx
