    Hi girls

I’m now POD5, and I honestly can’t get proper sleep on my back… it isn’t my usual sleeping position and I’m struggling to get the sleep and rest I need sleeping on my back.. I’ve started lying on my side some more and it’s such an relief but will this affect my BA results??? Has anyone asked the surgeon or nurse about how soon you can lie on your side? And if you feel you really need to will it have any huge detrimental affects? I don’t want to do anything that will badly affect my results but I would love to know if I can lie on my side or when I can lie on my side xxx

Hey. Are you with MYA? Most girls on here are told to sleep upright for 6 weeks then you can lay flat on your back. Apparently it’s to let you implants drop in the correct place otherwise thy may go a bit more outwards. Every surgeons have different preferences though so I’d double check with your nurse. I’m 5wpo today and still sleeping upright xxx

You need to sleep on your back my lovely xx for 6 weeks at least I was told at my 2 week check I could slowly lower down but I found it so hard to lie on my back and didn’t sleep very well at all 🙁 even with my v pillows x she was adamant not to be tempted to lay on my side xx you don’t want to risk bad results due to sleeping on your side after the money you’ve spent xx

Hiya I’m 9WPO and I was told to sleep upright the first 6 weeks then you can sleep on your back. I think after two weeks you can lower the angle to like 45 degrees which is nice. I think we spent all this money so I’m following what they recommend for the best results. The sleeping was tough going I had a bat wing pillow best thing ever. I couldn’t live without it similar to the v pillow I think.

    Happy healing
