    Hi all, hope you’re well!

Just wondering about the risk of a change in your smile after having rhinoplasty , didn’t even realise that was a risk until I came across it in my internet research. It makes sense of course, especially with open, which is what Dr G recommended me (I’ve decided I’m going with him after consultations over the past few years with Harley Medical Group, Philippe Chout, Peter Arnstein (Extreme Makeover) and S Gonschior). Was going to have a consultation with Ian Mackay but after my consultation with Mr G I was so impressed that after thinking about it for the past week, I’ve decided to go with him. Just reading about a possible change in smile I’m worried now! I didn’t realise this was a risk, and now I’m worried as I’m getting married in 5 months and I’m anxious in case that happens, I can cope with a bit of residual swelling but my smile being different would be a big deal cos of wedding pictures! Anyone experienced this?

Thanks guys! PS if anyone has any questions about long term results for overs (I’m 12 years PO with high profile overs from Shiva Singh at Transform) please don’t hesitate to ask.) Hugs x

    Hi Hun,

I had Dr G 9 months ago… no difference in the smile – i had a numb top lip for a week or two which made smiling difficult but that went and my smile is fine. Feel free to ask anything xx

Hey – my smile wasn’t affected at all after having Dr G just over 2 months ago.

Thanks for replying, that’s reassuring. 🙂 Read nightmare stories on the net about some people’s experiences, so was worried!

I booked my op earlier with Mr G, having it on the 27th, 16 days to go! So nervous! x
