Smokers

Has anyone continued to smoke pre op? I’m having 1-2 a day do I need to completely stop?!!

Yes I did I also continued to smoke post-op but again was only have 2 or so a day X X

I cut right down defore my op to about 4 a day but as soon as I got home I was smoking again , at my post op check (10days) my nurse said they were healing really well , I know I should have stopped but it’s very hard too ?

Hiya, I stopped 2 weeks ago, had a couple a few days after and then totally stopped, there’s been so many times I really could of smoked but was told at pre op you get tested ?, not sure if everyone does or how it’s done though, were any of you told the same ? Xx

Be careful Hun because I’ve seen girl have infections after, not that it happens to everyone but it is a risk, that is why they suggest no snaking 4 weeks after any surgery, I know it’s hard but think of how much money and time you spent on your new melons ?X
