    Hi Ladies,

No, only a pregnancy test. They said 2 weeks before op to stop, but when I got there it said no smoking on the day of the op, online said nicotine stays in system for 3 days. So all dates vary, but I would go with what your surgeon advises which is normally 2 weeks. Then believe me, you won’t feel like having one anytime soon after the op xo

I’m a smoker & im booked in for surgery on the 15th Dec. I’m not taking any chances as Mr Mounir told me at my consultation in no uncertain terms would he perform surgery if nicotine was found in my blood on the day of the op xx

Get a vape with no nicotine in! They’re great plus the less nicotine the better and stronger the different flavours are. You can always get tobacco flavour if that helps!

Hi Emma! It was very hard the first two weeks as I’m also dieting aswell! But I just didn’t want to lose my money or have to wait for my op even longer if I had a test! Then I got a chest infection after my op so I couldn’t even bare a cig, then I realised I’d saved about £100 (just under) and thought I may aswell try and give up now! 8 weeks today I’ve not had one for!! Xxx
