Smoking

I only smoke about 4-6 a day, will this be an issue? I’ve heard it prob won’t even show up in my blood or anything cos I don’t smoke many. Any one give me advice on this please? Is the nicotine test real?? X

Hi Gina I’m the same as you I only smoked 3/4 a day I didn’t have a test , but I stopped smoking for two weeks before my op Xx

Hi Gina, I smoked over 10 a day and cut down to 2 and some days none before my op. The anaesthetist asked me if I smoked and I was honest and all he said was well done. There was no test and nothing more was said. If you are feeling stressed, personally I can’t see anything wrong with the odd one!! Hope this helps hon xx

I smoked about 5 a day, my surgeon didn’t have a problem with it, but the nurse told me to stop. I’ve stopped and haven’t actually started again so it’s a win win. Nearly 6 weeks post op now, so it’s worth trying xx

Not in relation to smoking but I’m into my two weeks not drinking or **dry** time! I’ve lost 3lbs so yes another win-win situation:)
