I had a cheeky puff the morning of my surgery but had cut down to 2-3 a day anyway then went completely cold turkey since the op especially as I was in quite a bit of pain & just didn’t feel like it, I am now 19 days post op & struggle everyday but will not start again as it slows down your healing & I’m not healing very fast as it is..wish I’d have quit before xx

I give up for months but had few puffs over a glass of wine and few puffs after but giving up for real now as my nurse has told me it will take longer for me heal x

If you can’t fully quit, cutting down is better then nothing, smoking can effect your healing and also give you a higher risk of CC, but of you completely stopped you can do yourself lied harm then good xx
