(sorry it didnt seem to send the rest of my post) and im quite a heavy smoker,im doing my best to really cut down because as well as being really slim and trying to pile on the weight for surgery i realistically dont think il be able to stop smoking altogether.Just want to know if theres anyone else who smokes,im aware it slows down the healing process but im just scared im going to bleed to death on the operating table or something 🙁 replies would be great as this really worrying me.thank you xx

Mr Marcellino apparently refuses to operate on smokers…so yes it must make a big difference. Just think it’s only for a few weeks and then you can smoke again if you wish. It’s not easy xx

I stopped smoking for three weeks pre op and 3 weeks post op but I’ve been having about 3 or 4 a day now.. It’s so hard!!!! I’m trying to quit again though as I know it’s really bad to smoke when incisions aren’t fully healed. Try the gum that’s what I used xx
