So I had my pre op yesterday, everything was great. I got home a couple of hours later to a voice mail saying that there was a problem with my GP letter!
I spent two hours panicking and trying to get in touch.
The nurse finally called and said, can you talk to me a little bit about why you don’t drink anymore following your collapse on March 25th 2010….my 18th birthday.
I clearly had a little too much to drink on my 18th birthday and dont remember somebody calling an ambulance.
My medical history states collapse due to alcohol abuse, which had made the nurse think I had a drinking problem!
Luckily once she realised I just had an awesome 18th all was ok!
5 days to go until my Op so glad she saw the funny side and it was all cleared up!
