I’m awaiting a call back from the nurse but was just wondering if anyone has experienced this? So I’m 5 weeks poSt op and have had no real issues apart from one being a lot sorer than the other. Last week I felt pain in one of my incisions when I reached up to ur something away….a bit stingy and sore. This continued on for a few days but the scar never looked swollen or inflammed and the pain felt like it was more inside than out. The last few days the soreness has spread down the side of my in towards my stomach and feels very tight when I twist or turn. I have realised that it seems to be a vein/blood vessel that runs down from my incision down my body which is really tender and sore.when I turn to the side u can see it projecting out under my skin. I’m now worried that it had become caught when the stitches were put in or maybe the scar tissue that is developing is causing it.? If anyone has experienced anything similar or know what it may be I would love to hear from u as a bit anxious about it x.
