Sports Bra after op!

Hey girls how do you know what size sports bra to buy for after your op? Does it have to be tight, and also do they need to fasten at the front? Advice please ? xx

Hey Lyndsey! I went up a back size on my one because of swelling! I got a post op bra from Amazon and it doesn’t go by cup size which is good! I had my op yesterday and my boobs have swollen more and this bra is so comfy xx

Hi @emma ok thanks, aww how did you get on was you ok? Hope everything was fine for you. I have bought a m&s one I just picked up a 34 c because I haven’t a clue what size il actually be. We’re did you get your surgery done? What size did you get, are you happy with everything xx

I got on perfect! There is literally nothing to be worried about you are in the best hands. I’ve got an M&S one but my boobs have swelled quite Alot so I’ve just got the post op one so it expands. I got mine done in Preston with Dr mounir. I had 375cc overs UHP! I’m so happy with them, I was a bit worried about the swelling but it’s normal apparently as I’m only one day post op! I’m uncomfortable today but as long as you drink plenty of fluids and keep on top of your painkillers you’ll be amazing! I. Can’t believe I have boobs xxx

Ahh really he is my surgeon too, mines not until 26th may in Preston. I am so excited but nervous at the same time, I am glad to hear good things about him because not that many mention him. Am getting unders but when I see him again I want to talk properly about the shape because last time he only mentioned 400c an everybody mentions high profile, moderate etc and I haven’t got a clue @EMMAB xxx

He’s amazing! Mine are really sore today but they are bound to be as my op was only yesterday! They look after you well in there too because I am the most nervous person you could meet and they put me at ease all the way through! Yeah definitely? He comes in on the day aswell and does another sort of consultation to see if your happy xxx

Same I am a wimp with stuff like that, but am glad to hear everything went well and your happy with how it went makes me feel better haha. Did you find the place ok? Is it far xx

Oh that’s good am even worrying about finding the place ?? I live just of county road and it’s meant to be 50 mins away

Oh so do I like 2 mins from there haha. Is it! Are you in much pain? I think with having unders the recovery time is abit longer but am sure it can’t be that bad. How long was you in there for, I really want an early time so I won’t have to leave to late xx

Haha neighbours! Just a bit uncomfortable with the swelling but when it’s like that I just sit with ice on. I can’t move my arms much!! My admission time was 8am and I went down at 11.30 and was in my room by 1 xx

Haha I no, I hope I have a time like that wouldn’t want to travel back home late and wait round all day. xx

Hi Lyndsey, thought I’d say hello cos I’m booked in for 26th May at Preston too so we’ll probably see each other there! I live in Kirkby so only 35-40 mins from the hospital apparently. We can be boob buddies lol ? xx

@lyndseyc30 sorry I didn’t see your reply till I was looking at my profile today. How did it go for you yesterday? How nice is Dr Mounir, I’m made up with my results so far! Started as 36A, had 450cc unders and at the moment I’m wearing a 36E sports bra. Kind of hope they don’t shrink cos I LOVE them. Hope you’re feeling okay. Xx

Hi Mel really really well but I waited all day it was awful I arrived by 10:30am and finally left at 11pm it was the longest day of my life, there was a mix up with the papers at the hospital an I just so happened to be last on the list. Other than that I was fine and it went well thank you. Was yours yesterday as well? Am in pain but it’s bearable thankfully il try and attach a pic ? xxxx
