Help me…..pleaseeeee, I’m wearing a 34e sports bra and they are really squashing my boobs, it’s so tight I actually thought I was having a heart attack 🙁 when I unclipped it it felt like heaven!!! Should I get a bigger back sports bra or is it actually suppose to feel really tight? Has anyone else had this problem? Xxxxxx

Hi Lauren, I’m getting the same thing. I had to go out and buy a 32DD sports bra as I was only told to buy 32C/D but now the DD is so tight and I’m getting horrible bra marks all over my boobs from where it’s so tight. I wonder if I need to buy an E cup sports bra?! They are getting bigger by the day I swear!

How many days post op are you? I think it’s important to be supported in early days but also need to be comfortable so maybe try the next cup up? Back size should be either what you are normally or next one up to accommodate swelling. XX

Omg!! It’s heaven without the sports bra on!!.. I have changed
Mine to a 36e to give me more room!! It’s was rubbing on my
Incisions and making me sore (which by the way my left is still bleeding) today has been the most uncomfortable day for me I could cry, tablets are making me so sleep too :(.. Haven’t been to the loo either generally not a happy bunny today!! Also boobs feel like there even more swollen than day 1 which is why I have had to change bra!!! 🙁

Well I was a 32b so I got a 34, the actually cup isn’t tight at all it fits nicely so I just thought I needed a bigger back… I’m 3 days post op, maybe I’m just sore and it’s not tight I’m confused 🙁 do you think I hour just leave it a couple more days? Maybe I’m just a bit swollen at the moment, I’m having the same problem with the marks from the bra too, I think you should defo try the E cos if your getting marks from the bra then the cup must be too small xxxxx

Ah 3 days is still very early days and you will be swollen still. I was actually most swollen on days 3 & 4 and was most uncomfortable on those days. I wore my Macom for those days as it was most stretchy/comfy. I had a really tight feeling too which was horrible but I actually realised it was my muscles (I had unders) and also my skin as it has been stretched. Bear with it, it will get easier and less tight as the days go on 🙂 and think of your lovely boobies! Try icing your boobies as I found that helped with the tightness, I used a bag of frozen berries/peas.

@Hollie1301 the painkillers don’t help with going to the loo, i had the same but took a dulcolax and got some prune juice and that definitely helped! Happy healing to you both! X

Thanks Ellie! Xxxx…. Hollie, the painkillers made me soooo Ill I’ve stopped taking them, try taking paracetamol babe… I haven’t been to the loo yet either which isn’t helping… We just need a bit more time we will be getting better before we know it xxxxx
