    Hey ladies,
Sorry not been on much. Back at work and its manic. Boobs have been great though and can’t believe I am 5 weeks soon!!! 🙂 Healing has went so well and I am really chuffed but….
One little issue I’m having is that my left incision has decided to spit the end of the stitch out. I noticed it when it became tender and my sports bra started to bother it – It’s been pretty uncomfortable. So I had a feel and could feel the spiky stitch and could see it too. I left it and now a hole has appeared where the stitch has started to work its way out. The gape isn’t big but is big enough like 2-3mm…!! The incision is also red and tender around that little area, and when I pressed it, some horrid yuk came out – SORRY!! 🙁 I tried to see if the stitch was loose enough to come out but it isn’t so I just cleaned the area with antiseptic and trimmed it. Since the yuck has gone it seems a little better but is still tender. There isn’t any heat or problems anywhere else so I am just going to have to wait and see how it is over the weekend. The only problem is all my sports bras push on that area and make it uncomfortable.
I did phone the clinic and ask a nurse to call me back but no-one did.
I know a few other people have had this, and I’m not overly worried, but any advice would be appreciated

Update on waking this morning 🙂
Small area around the incision still red and a bit tender but the little hole has sealed up and its looking better. I am up dressed and the sports bra doesn’t seem to be bothering it so far…
Hope you all have a great weekend xxxx

Morning, glad it appears better today :-). I didn’t even realise the stitches would still be there after 5 weeks, I thought they dissolved! Have a fab weekend. Xx

Misfion ~ blimey! Glad ya ok!!! That’s a little scarey that that should really happen and from ya photos it looked as if you had healed really well thou! I would as a precaution purchase a packet of butterfly stitches which you can get from any chemist (about £2 or so) JUST in case it ever happens again as they are extrememly strong (I had the A&E use them on me when I nearly severed my little finger at work ~ they are very good!) Think it would put your mind at ease and especially as you stated it was still a little tender, and im sure at the back of your mind, you might think it would happen again ~ Besides they are always handy to have in the house 🙂 Hope your weekend gets better xxx

Aww thanks @Jo I had a moment last night when I imagined the teeny hole getting so big in my sleep that the implant would fall out ha ha. Over active imagination or what hee hee! Will grab some today when I head out to get an even bigger sports bra!! These things seem to have a life of their own ha ha. How are you doing? Loving the new nose? Have a great weekend sweetie xxxx
