@dannihan Dr Traynor uses dissolvable stitches but if they don’t dissolve quick enough you get the ends trimmed. I had this done two weeks post op, doesn’t hurt its just a little uncomfortable. You should get told at your one week post op appointment whether they need doing or not. I was told to come back at two weeks if they hadn’t dissolved by then. The nurse will hold the end of the stitch and trim it with a tiny little knife thing. I had 3 trimmed.
