Hi Paige im wondering about stitches too .. Do they disolve or are they sposed to be cut out ? If your worried about that lump i would ring the nurse to go in to have it checked, but could it just be your boobs settling down ?? xx

Looks fine to me they just dissolve but when you go to see the nurse if there’s any poking through she will sort them for you x

hey, i had problems with spitting stitches (where the body expels the stitch instead of dissolving) best thing to do is get it sorted by a nurse as it can create a absess if it becomes irritated, its so common and so easily fixed i wouldnt worry your incision is lovely too xxx

I got a couple hanging out like yours.. I’m 3 weeks post op today. But they aren’t splitting the skin or anything. Yours don’t look infected eithet so don’t pick them. The bump will go. The nurse can cut them when you next see her, I’m not due to see mine for another 3 weeks so I won’t worry. I read somewhere they can take 3-4 months to dissolve properly.

Totally normal, I still have one stitch on the outside of each boob, I have my 6 week check next week and wondering if they will pull it out! Will keep you posted xx

Hey, you incisions look tiny and healthy, don’t worry. I had my 6 week post op yesterday and had to have mine trimmed as I had a little bit of stitch poking out on both sides. Didn’t feel a thing!

    Good luck xx
