Stitches poking out at 4 weeks!!

Hey girlies anyone else had this? I’m 4 weeks PO and there’s one stitch poking out at the end of each incision!! It’s not irritating or anything but I’ve seen a couple of girls on here get a little infection even at six weeks from a stitch that hasn’t dissolved :/ xxx

One of my incisions looks fine to the eye but when I touch it it’s really bumpy and lumpy…did yours start like this? Xxx

I was told to cut it down or pull it out yourself Hannah, my mums a nurse & im guna get her to take mine out as i have a little one that hasn’t disolved!! x

I had the same until 5 weeks PO when it just fell out! Maybe yours will do the same xx

Hey hun, i had one and just wiped it with a sterile wipe and popped a steri strip over til i saw nurse at 6 weeks an she jus tweaked it out…its just ur body pushin out excess stitch..dnt mess or it wil get infected jus keep it clean and ask nurse to see u sooner if ur worried.. looking fab babes xx

I have 2 little white strands poking out the side of my incision on my left breast. Its annoying but not painful or anything, I think i’m just going to leave it to fall out by itself. I’m 3 weeks post op and my scars are looking great! Hardly any bumpiness or redness. Very happy:)) xx
