    I’m 3 weeks post op and my stitches have been working there way out but they have been ok, now one of the knots is trying to come out but has now made a hole that is open, worried now as it’s got bigger, anyone else have this problem xx

    Hi Hun. I would contact your nurse about this if you are worried think its best to get advice from them as they would know best x

    Thanks, deff going to try see nurse as showed my aunt who’s a nurse and she said to go see them as the knot needs cutting and might need some antibiotics x

    Thanks, hopefully can get appointment to go see them, am ok had pretty much pain free recovery until now, nd jus worried its goin to scar more as now there’s bit of a hole x

    Hi Hun, i feel for you… I had prob with my stitches too, the nurse said I had gaps, then thought gauze was stuck in the wound and I had occasional bleeding. Weeks later surgeon said it was just the knots needed taking out and there was a big scab not gauze also my body was rejecting the stitches. I hope you get an appointment soon Hun. They can put more steri strips on for you hopefully so rest up xxx take carexx

    Thanks, I think the knots need taking out as aunts who are nurses sed they think that’s what’s wrong and you can see the knot coming thru. Mines not a scab now it’s a open hole, fingers crossed I can get it sorted soon x

    Hi Georgina, I’m 4 months post op and have an ongoing issue with stick spitting. Another knot came out just this morning. Send friend request and/or private message if you want more info, this is my specialist subject! See your nurse and get them trimmed or pulled out if you can. X
