    Hi girls!

Just looking for a bit of advice and reassurance. Wednesday night I was in bed with my partner I was sat up watching tv and my partner rolled over in his sleep and lifted my arm up very fast at a funny angle so he could get under it for a cuddle.. as he lifted my arm up I got an awful shooting pain in my left implant… to the point where it made my eyes water…. so it’s two days later and it’s still hurting! Very sore and achy. There is no swelling or redness etc but it’s definitely sore!.. I’m wondering if I’ve strained the muscle? Anyone had a similar thing? I’m seeing my surgeon next week for my 6 week check up so wondering if I should hold off until then and speak to him about it or see him asap? Thank you xx

Maybe ring the nurse if it’s bothering you?
It sounds like it’s quite possible, did you have unders?
    Hope all settles soon. X

Hey kelsi! I actually did a similar thing to myself this morning trying to put and awkward top on haha. I’m also 5WPO 🙂
Any movement like that will sort of be a shock to the muscle with them having been cut open and rested/ still in repair etc! Mines still a bit tender now but is settling down with ibuprofen!
Maybe contact your nurse just to double check? They are the experts 🙂

    Thanks for the replies girls!

Hi Nadia yeah I had unders, gunna leave over the weekend and if it doesn’t get any better I’ll call them Monday morning 🙂 xx

Hi Nik, yeah I’ve pulled it slightly before and it’s ached for a couple of hours and disappeared but this pain isn’t going. Been keepin myself topped up with ibuprofen, hopefully will feel better soon! Xx

Oh no! Well I hope it goes down soon! Just keep an eye on it, you know your own body so in a day or two you’ll have a better idea! Drop your nurse an email maybe? Can’t hurt can it 🙂 xx
