Strapping off Thursday

So this Thursday I’m hopefully getting my strapping off (all though I’m being told 1 week by some people and 3 by others). It’s fair to said with the pain I’m in and how tender I am I’m terrified for the strapping coming off as it’s so sticky like a white duck tape!. I can’t find any videos or anything on like so I was hoping someone could explain to me in detail how they take the strapping off? I have a long bit across the top of my boobies under my armpits and another long bit that goes under my breasts (over the incision plasters) and again up to my armpits. It’s so uncomfortable and tight! I’m just so scared incase it’s going to hurt a lot >< any advice would be greatly appreciated xx

Hey I had mine off at one week. And the nurse was really nice she used antiseptic pads to help detach from my skin didn’t hurt at all!

Ah that’s ok then. Iv’e been imagining it to be like ripping off wax strips haha x

Hey Jasmine it’s more of a really weird feeling than hurting! Definitely doesn’t feel like wax strips anyway xx

I had my strapping off last week, I thought it was going to hurt but she just pulled it off slowly and it didn’t hurt at all xxx
