Sadly stretch marks are something that are determined by our genetics, they are scars deep in to layers of the skin, as creams only penetrate the first layer we can;t get rid of them once we have them! What you can do is fade them from red/purple to white/silver, I find Palmers Coco butter the best for this and your fine at 5 weeks just stay away from the lower pole/scar x

Hey Chanel I have stretch marks already from when my boobs filled with breast milk. They are barely visible now. Dr Mounir had to ask me if I had them and I had to point them out to him to show him but when they first appeared they were awful. I think following the other girls advice would be great and soon they’ll be like mine and barely visible!

Bio oil, bio oil and more bio oil, lol. My skin was so tight and dried out post op, and I starting getting stretch marks. I was using bio oil immediately on the top and sides of my boobs, just very careful to avoid the scars. At your 6 week check, all being well, you should be told you can apply it to the scars too. I used it religiously for the first 6 months and now I don’t have any visible marks and my scars are tiny and so pale, its brilliant.
    Good luck X
