So today was the day. It’s been such a long day. Arrived at Preston at 2pm, shown to my room straight away and changed into gown and socks. Got told I needed blood tests so ended up being last person to go down at 6pm. Prior to this Dr Traynor came in, I was still unsure about what size to go, but decided on 375HP partials.Went with anesthetis who was lovely and was asking me questions about my daughter, next thing I know I wake up in recovery room feeling rather groggy and extremely sore. First person I asked for was my fiancé who was waiting for me when I got back to the Room. Pain was quite bad and incisions stinging so they gave me some more pain relief.
Once that kicked in, I looked down at my boobs and started to cry as I felt they looked the same size as before. My partner was laughing his head off saying ‘they are really not’. Fast forward an hour I went to bathroom and had a look in the mirror whilst standing up, and honestly I was over the moon. They look amazing already and really natural.
Went back to room, given a sandwich which was a major struggle to eat as my mouth and throats are soooo dry. Given some ice packs as my left boob is extremely swollen and sore. I was then monitored until 11, when I was finally given the go ahead to go home.
I live around 45 mins away- drive wasn’t to bad except for bumps in road and roundabouts. Overall I’m coping ok and not in as much pain as I expected… for now anyway. The whole experience has been great, nurses at Preston were lovely and Dr Traynor is god! I love him!!!
I’m now sat in bed and buzzing with my new rack! Will upload pics when I get a chance Xx
