    I had my BA 9 weeks ago I’m going on the sunbed for the first time, do I need to cover my scars and what with? X

    Im 8 weeks post op and was thinking of having a sunbed today and I have the same question hun. Should we cover our scars xx

    I use plasters over my scars, so I’ve now got a big white patch all way around them lol! Makes them stand out even more lol! But hopefully my scars should fade and won’t be as noticeable! X

    Ive been told to just cover them in sun block 🙂

    Sun block doesn’t work on the high uv, even factor 50, you need a uv blocker to completely be safe, but as Charlie has said, plasters can work, but they don’t filter the uv out, so can leave you incisions red and raised still.
    As you’re still quite fresh from surgery, wait until three months before allowing your whole new boobs out, as with the stretched skin you can tan blotchy xx
