    How long do have to leave it before i can go on a sunbed and will i always have to cover my scars?

    I was told up to a year after because the skin is still very delicate after being stretched. I know a lot of girls use them before that time though. The advice was wear sunscreen and definitely keep your scars covered, as your scars will colour darker when they tan but wont fade like a tan because they are still ‘new’ and will be quite noticeable xxx

    hey i use the sun beds 3 times a week, i cover my scars with plasters and will do for a year xx

    im dying to go on a sunbed but im only 3 weeks post op, but im soo pale, when would you say i could go on one? x

    Ive been going on from 1 week post op just with my sports bra covering my scars and the whole of my boobs x

    oh really? and yours are fine? im 3 weeks but one of my scars isnt completely healed, its slightly open on of the sides? x

    Mine are fine yeah 🙂 Your not allowed to expose your scars because they colour really dark so cover them up and the skin streched across your boobs can burn easily so keep that covered up until your 6 week check 🙂 Youll be fine I promisexx

    i waited 7 weeks before i started to use one, but i always cover my scars with thick plasters xx

    I went on and I was just under 2 weeks PO! I wore sports bra and a bandeau lol but still kept whole boobs covered! X

    yeah thats what i was thinking of doing! im 3 weeks yesterday post op so i might start next week! x
