Sunbeds!

Hi girlies I’m 5 week post op just wondering when any of you went on the sunbeds? I’m dying too!!! Xx

I’ve seen girls saying they went on just covered their scars 🙂 it cant do any harm as far as I know it just makes them darker! I’m only 3 days PO and I’m dying to get back on them too haha! Xx

Oh I’m not as worried then! ? Literally I’m addicted I need to get back on asap? Xx

You need to make sure you cover the scars and if out in direct sun light cover and factor 50, because it’s new skin so it’s very sensitive and can get damaged very quickly

I was told you need to cover the scars when using the sunbeds for up to a year after.

Covering the scars doesn’t bother me I just didn’t know if the top of my breasts was alright to be out

my nurse said don’t go on at all for a year :/ i thought that was a bit drastic! surely if the scars are completely covered we would be okay?xx

Mine only said a few week till I had healed! Cxx

My nurse said 6 month to a year also… I went on 8 days post op and just kept my sports bra on I’m gonna just start wearing a boob tube cos my lines are now ridiculous but just cover good scars girls xxxx
