    Hi!
I’ve got my forst consultation with my surgeon and nurse appointment on 19th august. When i read the pack my PC gave me it said i would need a chaperone for both. I don’t think i can get anyone to come with me. Did anyone else go on their own do you have to have someone go with you?
    Thanks 🙂

I think it’s just for support. I went with my husband and baby (no no other childcare) but because no children are allowed in the rooms he waited in the waiting room. I didn’t need anyone in the consultation or pre op. You’re fine going alone most of the girls in the wairing room were alone xx

I have been with my husband and with out and there is always a 3rd member in room with you any way. They take notes so that they witness what surgeon and yourself has said. Then you sign to agree you don’t mind them being in with you.

Your fine on your own hun. With the surgeon someone sits in with you anyway. I have had all my appts on my own, just need someone on the day of the opp…..Good luck. ? x
