    Hi Girls,

Im a very independent person and I enjoy my own company and I know I will be more stressed if my mum or any family come along on my op day as they will be more nervous than me! I was just wondering if anyone has or knows if I can come alone and just get picked up by someone at the end?

    Thanks!

I got dropped off and picked up and preferred being on my own too with no one else to worry about. I know they definitely need to be there to chaperone you out when your being discharged and that’s it xxxx

My husband is taking me but he appears to be so much more nervous than I am and that’s now making me nervous. I couldn’t but I kind of want to say don’t worry about staying just drop me off and pick me up later ?

I travelled down the night before on my own as we had a family funeral that my husband had to attend on the day of my surgery. To be honest though with all the sitting around you do it was for the best, you only need to concentrate on yourself!! Just make sure someone picks you up after your surgery and then the tlc begins ??
