Surgery tomorrow.. On my period, helpppp!!!

Rather embarrassing but someone must be able to help. I am having my ba tomorrow but I’m bleeding so heavily today. Is it still ok to have surgery, can I wear a tampon?

Hi Hannah. You can still have surgery. I have been told that when they give you the sexy paper pants they give you a massive pad too. Your not meant to wear a tampon but some people have posted on here that they did wear one but just didnt say anthing! lol xx

Hi Hun, don’t panic I was in too… In pre op questions they ask u when you were last on your period…I said I was on and she said nothing… Wasn’t made to wear any horrendous pad so wore my tampon… Only advise would be as awful
As it sounds make sure u change it before op as you won’t wanna be getting out of bed for a couple hours after… Xx best of luck
