    How soon after your op were you allowed to take your stockings off? I’m paranoid! x

    The nurse told me it take them off before I was discharged at 7pm!

    Lol I took mine off when I was about to leave and the nurse told me to put them back on because of the risk of blood clots! x

    It’s 24 hours Hun to prevent blood clots and if you are going to fly within the first 6 weeks then you need to wear them again for that xx

    I took mine off when I left the hospital, they didn’t say anything about keeping them on to me ?!

    If you are mobilising then its ok to remove…usually only need to keep them on following an op if you are bed bound therefore increasing risk of clots. x

    I’d took mine off and put them In the bin when I got dressed then the nurse came in and was like where are your stockings and I was like in the bin haha. I had to get them out and put them back on when I got home. She said to wear them over night xx
