Surgical tape over insicions?

Did any of your girls get told to put surgical tape over insicions when you had your dressigs removed? The nurse told me to do this now and then and it helps to smooth out the scar. I did it for the first time last night and when ive pulled the tape off its pulled half of my scabs off

I got told to do this also by nurse but I haven’t yet for that reason lol I darnt even touch that area in case I open my scar back up lol ???????????? xx

Yeah I’m not putting any on my scars don’t look that bad in all fairness I think the tapes just to put pressure on it to flatten scar but I think my mya bra sits right under my scars anyways xxx

I got surgical tape, still using it at 6 WPO (obviously changed it).

My nurse changed my dressings at 7dpo and told me to remove the new ones 3 days after and to put nothing over them as they need air to get to them x

was also told to put surgical tapes over mine, but that I should use lukewarm water to help make it easier remove e.g. like when I’m having a shallow bath/wash/shower or whatever, rather than just ripping them off xx
