Swelling and bloating and massive stiff nips!

i had them done at 10am yyesterday when does all this happen? Especially the swelling? My nips are hard but no feeling in them thank god. I still look slim and boobs the same as yesterday so when will they swell up? Xx

I had my op at 9.30pm Tuesday night and 24 hours later they started to feel really tight. No bloating yet and no idea about my nipples as I’m all strapped up!

I think they normally swell up straight away, but I guess it’s different for everyone. I had mine done on Tuesday morning and mine have swelled but because they are strapped up I can’t see them. Also I started bloating yesterday but I think that the antibiotics and painkillers, and it’s happened to me before with operations. Everyone is affected differently though, so if you don’t bloat that’s a good thing x

Just woke from a nap and in swollen lol ones dropping already is that nornal? And ny incisions have a tiny nark on them. Im not in any pain x

I think sometimes they can, maybe speak to your nurse? I wish I could see mine, they are strapped up so tight just want to know what they look like already xx

Mine are so swollen at the mo and feel like 2 bricks! I cant even stand without shaking and needing to sit back down 🙁 im only two days PO but so worried as supposed to be going back to work in Monday :/ xxx

Elle I’m the same still with the strapping, mine are all the way across my boobs as well and extra tight around the side where they took the drains out, then added extra strapping round the sides! My nurse suggested cutting a small v in the top of the strapping and that has eased off the tightness a little bit. When do you have your strapping off? x

Oh god that mist be horrible!! My strapping is just below my armpits and just finishes before my nipple.. Then i just have 2 plasters on the incisions. Mines coming off on Monday 🙂 just hope by then im a bit more mobile!! Xxx

I’m 3 days post op today and I’m in alit of pain with my insictions to and find it hard getting up xx

Yeh its horrible isnt it hun! No one warned me about this aha. My whole body is so heavy and feels so stiff! Xx

Yeah it’s awful when I sit up it really pulls underneath makes me panik xx

I feel the same!! Keep thinking the stiches will look really bad when the plasters come off. I guess this must be normal.. Xx
