    hey ladies,

Reaching day 5 now and I look very very bloated still mainly around my stomach. I work out usually 4-5 times a week and with it being easter and not been able to do much I’m not sure if it’s me indulging too much or with op it just doesn’t look like my usual shape ;/

@danielle15 hey hun, when I had mine done I had such bad swelling in my lower abdomen and it looked very weird! It started going down about 2-3 weeks post op so don’t worry, it’s normal xxx

@danielle15 I had mine done a week ago and in the last two days my ‘boob job blubber’ has started to go down a bit so don’t panic! I posted on here a few days ago in the same position as you after I had gained 9lbs and lost all definition in my stomach (i’d been working on getting abs since christmas so you can imagine my horror!)

My hips and below belly button are still a good 2-3 inches bigger than they were the day before the op, so i’m going to ask the nurse about it today when I go to get my dressings off! They’re still much better than 2 days ago though (even my husband had noticed how bloated i was and he doesn’t notice when I change my hair from blonde to red….

I think it’s really hard when you’re the type of person who would normally work out all the time, because y natural reaction on a ‘fat day’ would be to go and smash a session in the gym. It’s like a form of therapy for me so i’ve struggled this week feeling like a lump!

really hope you feel more normal soon! I’m going to start doing bodyweight squats and lunges at home in the next week (no impact whatsoever so should be fine) and i’m going for a leisurely shopping trip with my bestie today so thats a bit of a walk as well!

Aw feels good to know it’s not just me and that I havnt piled the weight on I havnt been eating loads to be honest but what I have eaten is what I wouldn’t normally eat so didn’t know if it was down to that.

Me too Iv lost all my hard work over the last few months muscle tone from every where has gone and now I have a flat bum lol. But suppose it’s nots forever and once fully recovered can go back to it. But it’s killing me not being able to go and burn everything off..

Thanks ladies for replying you’s have made me feel alittle better that it may not be extra weight I need to shift x

Hiya girls!! Just an update, since my op on 1st April, I’ve been extremely bloated, weighed myself sometime last week and weighed again today and I’m exactly 10lbs lighter!! Thank the Lord, . Wasn’t just fat, the meds are out of my body now so think it was definitely them! 4 more lbs to lose and I’ll be back at my before boobs weight, my boobs weigh apparently 3.5lbs so really I’d just need to lose .5 to be back where started

I think walking around helps with the bloating too! I feel relieved but it’s so confusing because you actually believe you got fat! hehe. xxxx
