Taking the strapping off

Girls who have had their strapping off mines on Friday and I’m so worried it’s gonna hurt! It’s basically sellotape. Can someone explain what happens please!!!!!

They basically just pull it off but slowly! It doesn’t hurt it feels like such a relief! But don’t worry I thought it was going to hurt but it didn’t! Where are you based to have it off? Xx

I went to Chelmsford the nurse was really nice! I had mine off early because I got blisters from the strapping! You will be fine xx

How am I going to feel after? Pain wise does it worsen??

I am also getting my strapping off on Friday, in Leeds. I was also worried it may hurt so glad to hear it’s fine. I am in a lot of pain at the moment on day 3 post op. So, does it feel better without strapping?

@cazza2p hi, I had my strapping off at Leeds also with the nurse and she took it off really slowly and used sterile wipes to help so it didn’t hurt at all. I felt so much better after I took it off and was able to wear a sports bra, I think because you can see them makes you feel better too!! Xx

I want to peel mine off now, it’s really irritating me. I’m 5days post op and have to wait till Tuesday ?

Hello Robyn! Well that’s great I’m glad it doesn’t hurt. I am also looking forward to wearing my sports bra. So true! X

Having my strapping removed was such a relief. It didn’t hurt at all but its kind of the same sensation when you have a wax (but with no pain or hair removal). That’s probably a weird description but you’ll know what I mean when you have it removed.

I think the most uncomfortable thing about getting the strapping off is when I sat up to put my bra back on and my boobs were hanging free for the first time… It was like someone strapped two kettlebells to my chest.

I bet it was such a relief as its not nice on. Ooh that sounds strange, exciting though! New boobs are kinda heavy. X
