I have a 5 year old daughter. I told her a few weeks back and she got upset saying my boobies are perfect and she doesn’t want me to change them. She and my husband will be dropping me off at the hospital and getting a hotel for the night as I’m staying in so she’ll know what’s gone on etc. But how do i make her ok with it or how could I cover it up with something else?? Also dreading her telling every one at school that I’ve had a boob job Haha!!!!

I have the very same concerns at the moment too (I’m in 1st June)

I’ve got to say something to my youngest who’s 6 as he usually jumps all over me, but I don’t want him telling the whole class and strangers on the street. Ha ha ha!

I have no idea what I’m gong to say, I share your pain!

Im having the same dilemma my little one is 5 and don’t really want her telling the whole class my mummies got new boobies lol.

she has seen myself my mum and my dad all have operations for medical reasons so she understands that mummy will be in pain I haven’t actually told her im having my boobes done – just that im having an operation and that mummy wont be able to pick you up for a while as my chest will hurt and that your going to have to be a big girl and help mummy round the house and be a big girl and do things by yourself, she seems quite keen to do that and have started little things already like hanging her towel over the banister (which is usually left on the floor for me to do) and using the step to get in and out the bath on her own,at the moment she likes the concept of being a big girl and doing things all by herself and helping mum and looking after her. Just hoping it lasts after I have the op 🙂

Im in 2 minds if to tell her what im actually having done or if to keep it as just that mummies having an operation and my chest is going to hurt for a while – may have to explain if she turns round like wow mum your bubbies got big haha.

it is difficult to decide how open you want to be with them and how much they should know and the worry of the whole class finding out xx

    +1

I told my boy who’s nearly 5 that I’m having an operation on my tummy as I know how much of a chatterbox he is and will go telling everyone at school & family etc and I personally only wanted my hubby and parents to know. He knew I’d be sore and not to jump on me as my front hurt. I feel bad lying but I know how much embarrassment it would save me. Xx
