Girls please tell me how to cope in this heat. I’m 11DPO and I cannot stop scratching! Every part of me on my chest and back is itchy! My macom is driving me insane! I feel like crying, I can’t sit comfortably because I’m just itching all over. And my incisions are super itchy! What can I do…?

Aww no it’s a nightmare isn’t it! I feel totally fine in myself too, so I just want to be out and sunbathing and playing with my son! But I can’t do nothing other than itch! I don’t have a fan no, I just want to whip my bra off and have a cold shower! But I can’t even do that haha x

Tell me about it!! I’m 6DPO and feel fine, I just wanna go out!! But I’ve still got strapping on and omg in this heat it is disgusting! No summery tops cover it and it’s literally sweating off (disgusting I know sorry).

I’m super hot and itchy too! what’s helped me so far are just ice packs and lightly rubbing along my Macom bra (very light!) so maybe try ice packs? keeping active also helps cause you don’t think about it as much xx

I’ve spoken to the nurse. She said at 1 week post op she said I had healed. So she told me to take the plasters off to stop the burning and irritation and to go get another sports bra and stay away from my macom in this heat. X

Maybe run a cold shallow bath and sit in it, also make sure you are using ice packs to cool down your body x

Try water wipes u can get them from boots and Superdrug. They’re chemical free natural wipes that I used after my op when it was too cold to have a shallow bath. U could keep them in the fridge to stay extra cool. Theyre really gentle for ur skin and u can find them in the baby aisle. They’re quite popular and my branches often sold out think because theyre really kind to skin and great for irritation x

Oh fab. I didn’t know they did anything like this. I had massive johnsons wipes for after my op just to feel clean on the top half, but today I’ve just been using a wet flannel to stay cool. But after taking my dressings off I’ve gone back to the chemist to get one for my right incision because it looks funny to me compared to my other x

I’d go to the gp about the incision, it may just be the picture but it kind of looks like it’s opened up a bit xx

I spoke to the out of hours nurse and she’s trying to get me into the clinic tomorrow. She said she’s not worried as I’ve had no bleeding and no puss etc. Could just be the picture looking like scabs. But I agree it looks totally different to my other x
