So I defiantly under estimated the pain I would be in, chest feels so right and my right boobs seems to be a lot more swollen and painful, the back of the top of my right arm even feels a bit numb at times. Has anyone else experienced that?
How long will this pain last for 🙁

Yeah my right boob+ arm is the same. But bearable. R Urs unders?? I got unders + what’s more uncomfortable is the band but to me u can’t go through surgery + have someone prod bout at you+ expect no pain at all. If it’s severe then get it checked out. X

Hey girls you sound exactly like me! Was not prepared for the pain of unders! Today was my day 3 post op and its the first day ive not relied on strong pain killers. Still struggling at night and in the morning but im definitely getting better. Hang on in there – im pretty sure the first few days are the worst! It can only get better ! Xxx

Girls I had my op yesterday and I feel so tight and swollen already. also my back really hurts. Have you been told to sleep upright? my nurse said laying down is fine as long as I don’t sleep on my side. But in the info pack it says try and sleep at an angle. Just want to lay down but don’t want to do anything wrong. Hope you have a good night sleep. xxx

Hi Laura I had my op yesterday as well, I’m sleeping at a 45 degree angle it’s not the most comfortable but will be worth it in the end, pain not so bad just tight but to be expected, thinking of the end result gets me through lol x x

I actually had overs so really wasn’t expecting to be in that much pain 🙁 my right arm seems to feel slightly better now it is more the top of my right shoulder, feels all tense and that I just need to stretch it but I guess that is my body getting used to the new boobie! Hope the pain goes away for you fast x

Hey girls I was exactly the same as soon as j woke up from the op I was in agony and they kept giving me morphene. Day 1-3 is def the worse but it does slowly start to get better trust me!!! I had unders and totally underestimated the pain. My nurse told me after day 3 to stop taking the cocodomol and taken paracetamol instead which made a massive difference so try that. I was thinking on day three if I knew how much it hurt i wouldn’t have gone through it but now I’m over the moon with my results and would go through it all again. as all my friends were fine after day 1 but they had overs! Xx

    Hi girls
I’m 11 days post op. I had unders too and definitely underestimated the pain and discomfort. I had all my meds and finished the full course of everything.
I would say I didn’t feel at my best until day 9 but now day 11 there’s no discomfort or pain and I can move freely. Still a little stiff and tight when first waking up but just glad to be able to move about and get out the house xx

Hi Carmen I’m at day 3 now, the pain hadn’t been to bad until last night and I had a dreadful nights sleep, hopefully it will start to get easier now, think I’m going to swap to the paracetamol today as the bloating is so bad and the cocodamol is making me really groggy x x

I was finding everything so difficult until about day 5. The pain went quick quickly for me after day 5 and each day was a big milestone. Two weeks post op now and pain free finally. Hang in there xx

Thanks so much girls. It’s reassuring to hear. I did expect pain but I’m not even in that much pain it’s more annoying that everything is so tight. It’s almost like having a bad tooth ache it’s a nagging feeling. Must admit feel a little better than I did yesterday and took co-dydramol this morning but might swap to paracetamol. Thinking more of my diet today as haven’t been to the toilet in a few days? I just can’t wait till Friday till strapping comes off. Really pleased with what boobs I can see so far. So excited for Friday. Xxxx

Hi Laura I’m the same not managed to go to the toilet yet either and have been taking the lactulose they gave me but it doesn’t seem to be helping, can’t wait to have my strapping off either, I’ve added you if that’s ok x x

Hi ladies, I had my op 6 days ago.. My left boob still has no feeling to it, however, my right side – I have been able to feel since even when they removed the drain.. Is anyone else in a similar position? I’m doing everything they have said.. Sports bra on at all times, sleeping sitting up. I must admit yesterday was my worst day, I’ve realised evenings seem to be the worst part of the day for feeling uncomfortable. I’ve also noticed my tape is really creased and folding on the right side so I cannot wait to have this removed tomorrow! As for the bloating, wow I too look pregnant! I’ve only managed to be able to to “go” today so hooefully this’ll start to go down soon. Is anyone a bit nervous to have a feel of theirs? X

Hi Abbi I’m so scared to touch mine, my strapping is folding to and it’s so uncomfortable can’t wait to have it removed but it’s not until Thursday and I can’t wait, hope you don’t mind i sent you a friend request x x
